Feedback January 21-25

I think it takes place in Spain. This is because, in the book, San Ildefonso is mentioned
repeatedly (Moeri, 183). San Ildefonso is in Spain.

I think Louise Moeri did not tell the specific location because she wanted to make a point that child soldiers are used all over the place, not in just the country where this
book is set in.

Vishal I absolutely agree with you because no one can argue with the geographical placement of cities, and towns. Then the idea of why she didn't tell the place is absolutely correct and another reason is because she wanted to tell about the harsh conditions that all child soldiers endure. It has meaning that some child soldiers actually are separated from their families for ever by death and their bodies aren't even recovered for their families.
